“Something to Click”

 “Something to Click”

by Suzán Jiván Mom & Mom-Mom Suzán

Something to click

without giving permission

while unflinchingly

scrolling through uncouth

untruths of big galoots

after winning trivia pursuit

via an arm twist…

“ A Patch of Rampant Bamboo” ...

” A Patch of Rampant Bamboo “

by Suzán Jiván Mom & Mom-Mom Suzán

A patch of rampant bamboo
shoots sprouting all around clapboard houses
surrounding station wagons
forming thickets bringing in pandas
well before the ban of remaking health care

via juicy and outlandish big personalities
fueling solid “Nutcrackers” during leaves of absence
in order to bear heirs young and pale
more timid than can be imagined
footlights set aglare blaring back-to-back arctic blasts...

“ Mile-Long “...

” Mile-Long “

by Suzán Jiván
Mom & Mom-
Mom Suzán

Mile-long grisly surreal
unleashing inquiries
via mangled bodies
manically waving
down the highway
like zombied mobs

being cast in tragi-comedies
yet too senseless to believe
as sirens and police fein insanity
via pit bull tactics that sow doubt

bailing out loose cannons
scrambled harassments
clashes gaps knee-jerk
reactions casualty counts
messy battles handed down
commanding, “Stand Down!!!”...

“ Unveiling “...

” Unveiling “

by Suzán Jiván Mom
& Mom-Mom Suzán

Unveiling charges copping
a plea to lying guilty
in the court of common pleas

pre-picking juries
with early words on “dirt”
risk averse to word searches that “hurt”

freely blocking bans defying breezy
highs in the mid-to-upper 60’s
becoming partly cloudy

broad-reaching messy sprays
in post-season celebration
being disseminated by champagne
and long-running labor cost savings
excluding damaging hurricanes

I’m just sayin’’
“There’s unrest in the Ancients’
faith in imagination
due to predation over decades”

filled with nets and lines
left with little-or-no life
yet not particularly surprising

like feeling zanily grateful
for “stupid fame”
It’s so hard to say,
“Being less read today”

via tragic association
teasing pie-in-the-sky
mimes that rhyme
getting hit broadside...

“ Motion “...

“ Motion “

by Suzán Jiván
Mom & Mom-
Mom Suzán

Motion denied declaring:
“You are what you buy!”
without taking sides

still seething over empty seats
in broken-down rigs
besides the mainstream

surging through consuming
communities being viewed zooming
through the drive-thru in kinky boots

hidden in computers
filled with lost law suits
filed the day before
fraud having reached
the breaking point

while dreaming
of enormous joy
but mournfully
left with prolonged
longing shoring
up ports of call

restoring rounds of talks
feeling twice as strong
offering choruses
of sonorous voices...

“ A Hard Task “...

” A Hard Task “

by Suzán Jiván
Mom & Mom-
Mom Suzán

A hard task
made
even harder
all eyes on
targeting
the populace
in airless hovels
garnering
sewage and garbage

undermining “The Party”
via bots on turnstiles
coming to quick stops
with philosophical
whiplash problems

figuring prominently
while swiping cards
and charging diesel cars
with scattershotted
cellphone zombies
countering nonsense
still looking calm

feeling immune to being duped
within darkened rooms
of major institutions
constituting pursuit
of undisputed dystopian futures...

“ Cynically Twisted “...

“ Cynically Twisted “

by Suzán Jiván Mom & Mom-Mom Suzán

Cynically twisted volatility
re-visiting muddied health fixes
re-engineering dark materials

mandatory prison for rigged systems
false news dripping conspiracy theories
amid the uniformity of scandal and loss

gold-bordered greeting cards
graphic novels of prominent rock stars
lyrics written within narrow apartments

micro-particled tattooed artists’ inked arms
opposition parties “rich or not”
working moms going “mod”

becoming capable of bonding
while attending galas
table-hopping toddler nuances

lock-step military garb
white polka-dot tops
striped socks printed bottoms

“Be still my heart!”
trilogies starting
as ambitious larks’
simbiotc sitcoms...
