A patch of rampant bamboo
shoots sprouting all around clapboard houses
surrounding station wagons
forming thickets bringing in pandas
well before the ban of remaking health care
via juicy and outlandish big personalities
fueling solid “Nutcrackers” during leaves of absence
in order to bear heirs young and pale
more timid than can be imagined
footlights set aglare blaring back-to-back arctic blasts...
